Fencing and other setup:
On the initial day of the project, we will set up the perimeter - a handy little solar-powered electric fence that keeps the goats in and other critters out. It’s lightly juiced but to avoid a zap, we advise that you don’t let your intrusive thoughts make you touch it. We can set this up along with the herd’s water stations in a day or less, depending on brush that we’d need to clear and difficulty of terrain.
Deploy the Goats!
We’ll truck in the herd and set them to work! Over the course of a week or so, they’ll ABSOLUTELY DEMOLISH your overgrowth and be pretty self-sufficient, but we would highly appreciate it if you check in on them once a day to make sure nobody is stuck, thirsty, or sick. We can either provide quick guidance or come out ourselves in case of emergency. Please note that the completion time will depend of the density of the vegetation and amount of acreage.
Enjoy a fresh new landscape:
Goats are specialists at eating pesky native nasties like poison oak & ivy, thorny greenbrier, stickyjack, brambles, and more (enjoying every minute, might we add). For more ground-level control, we have a few sheep that also like to get in on the action, uprooting unwanted grasses and other nonsense. If they’ve decided that smaller trees or larger vines are too tough to munch, we’ll bring a machete and remove the rest personally.
By the time the herd departs, you’ll have a clean new canvas to garden, build, or re-sod as you see fit!
